Junior Bake Off Is Back!

As you may or may not know I'm probably the biggest fan of Great British Bake Off on Channel 4. And if you watch it then you know this season has come to an end unfortunately...

BUT...Channel 4 have answered all of our prayers and aired the junior version of the show. The first episode came on yesterday afternoon, and I cannot lie, I'm hooked already. Now, first of all, thank god we've Liam Charles BACK doing his thang and with the great Prue Leith, they make a good team presenting together and with Harry Hill as the main presenter believe me, expect lots of laughter.

"I had to call my 9 year old nephew and we watched together over Facetime (Thank you modern world lol)."

Now as for episode one, I don't wanna ruin it for you, so go watch it on All 4 (Click here) before today's episode at 5pm. But obviously I have to give you a little spoiler. These kids are beyond talented. So much so, Liam and Prue decided to send no one home (I know that was a big spoiler, But tonight's the tense moment you need to catch, because instead of sending one baker home... they are sending two!)

The bakers are showing the UK that they did not come to play. The technical challenge saw some produce the standard of cakes we'd expect from professionals, and well the technical had me like...

I had to call my 9 year old nephew and we watched together over Facetime, (Thank you modern world lol) He was so inspired. So excited to try out new bakes. Then I realised something. No matter how technical our world gets with Youtube, Snapchat, Tik Tok etc, Our kids can still be inspired by the stuff adults watch too. And you know what, I'm pretty excited to see what this year's bakers are going to show us, now and beyond.

Remember to catch the latest episode on All4 and today's episode at 5pm on Channel 4.
